“Dying For Work” Billboard Greets Las Vegas Commuters
People driving on Interstate 15 in Las Vegas have likely noticed disturbing scenic views during their morning commutes. A dummy hanging from a noose was attached to a billboard on which the words “dying for work” were painted. Another billboard across town had a dummy dangling from a billboard with the message:
“hope you’re happy, Wall St.”
Trace Gallagher reported that many commuters alerted local police and called in to talk radio shows. The billboards may be a sign that Nevada, the state with the highest unemployment rate in the country, is feeling the heat. The billboard company is one of the biggest in the area, but they have yet to respond to the stunt. The Nevada Department of Transportation has since taken down the shocking displays.
