How Will the Ryan Budget Plan Impact the Presidential Race?

Patricia Powell, founder and CEO of the Powell Financial Group, broke down the Paul Ryan budget plan and said that it’s tremendously different from the White House proposal. “It’s focused on bringing our budget into balance even though we can’t even make it in 10 years.”

On the question of reforming Medicare, she spoke about how the Ryan plan secures Medicare for recipients who are already in the program. The plan will

also secure it for all people who were born in 1957 and before. Ryan is looking to give people “more choices” and lower costs.
