Miami Dolphins Release Chad Johnson After Arrest on Domestic Violence Charges
There’s some new trouble for the NFL star formerly known as Chad Ochocinco: he is now out of a job. The Miami Dolphins released Chad Johnson after he was arrested on charges of domestic violence over the weekend.
Johnson’s wife claims that when she and her husband got into a heated argument, the NFL star 'head-butted' her. Captain Dale Engle of the Florida police department described the aftermath, saying, “She had quite a [gash] laceration on her forehead.
It was described to me as being two to three inches in length. As we all know, head wounds bleed a lot, but her face was covered in blood - both dried blood and wet blood.”
Chad Johnson claims that he just leaned towards her and that the head-butt wasn’t intentional. The judge has ordered that the wide receiver stay away from his wife.
