Mike Huckabee on Paul Ryan: You May Not Agree With Everything in His Plan, But He Has a Plan
Saturday mark a week since Governor Mitt Romney chose Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate in the 2012 presidential election. It’s clear that the new pick has begun to really shape the presidential race. With the GOP ticket enjoying somewhat a wave of momentum right now, Romney and Ryan have raised $10.2 million from 124,800 donors, 68 percent whom are brand-new..
Governor Mike Huckabee discussed how much has changed in the last week regarding the presidential campaign on today’s America’s Newsroom.
Huckabee believes that Romney’s choice of VP went absolutely flawlessly. He said, “Mitt Romney picked a very articulate spokesperson for his point of view, Paul Ryan. You may not agree with everything in the Paul Ryan plan, but you know what’s different? He has a plan.”
In comparing Paul Ryan to President Obama, Huckabee said, “[Obama] is the first president in US history who has not signed a budget. Paul Ryan has helped develop a budget every year … When people really start asking who is developing a plan to get this country back on track, even if they don’t agree with every aspect of the Paul Ryan approach, the fact is they’re going to say, ‘He has an approach.’”
“If the past is a precurser for the future, Paul Ryan is going to do fine because one thing is he’s not afraid to answer to questions, and he can answer.”
