Incredible Pictures: Man Captures Images of Humpback Whales Just Off California Shore

Bill Bouton was just trying to take photos of birds off the California coast when he captured these amazing images of humpback whales breaching the surface of the water to snack on sardines.

Marine biologists say that whales have been coming closer to shore lately because the currents have pushed their food into shallow waters. Check out more photos of the incredible sight at sea!
