Ann Coulter Calls Akin a "Selfish Swine" Who Is Hurting the Republican Party
Democrats are attempting to tie the GOP presidential and vice presidential candidates to the offensive comments made by Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin. Despite the fact that Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan immediately denounced the congressman’s comments and called for him to drop out of the race, the left is heightening their attempts to suggest that Romney and Ryan agree with Akin.
On the official site for the Democratic Party, there is a banner that reads “The GOP is dangerously wrong for women,” and displays the photos of Romney, Ryan and Akin. In the same money-raising
banner, a quote reads, “Romney, Ryan, Akin and the GOP want to take women back to the dark ages.”
Tonight on his show, Hannity welcomed author Ann Coulter to give her commentary on the controversy and fallout. Sean Hannity referred to Democrats as, “a desperate party that wants to talk about anything except the failed record of President Obama.”

Coulter called for a write-in campaign in Missouri to win the Senate seat presumably lost by Akin, whom she described as a “selfish swine.” She went on to say that this is the first example that can be lumped into a so-called Republican ‘war on women.’
In terms of how this will impact the race in Missouri and the presidential campaign, Coulter said that Akin is harming the Republican Party. She told Hannity, “We have gone from an easy win to a loss […] What [Akin] cares about is his own ego.”
