Report: More Than 2,000 Hospitals Could Face Penalties Under Obamacare
Concerns are growing among U.S. doctors over possible penalties against hospitals that could result from Obamacare. The issue pertains to how much will be paid by Medicare for repeat hospital visits.
Martha MacCallum talked with Dr. Sreedhar Potarazu, CEO of Vital Springs Technologies and author of the book "Get Off the Dime." He explained that many hospitals are worried about hefty losses if they lose Medicare payments on re-admissions, and fail to make up for it with an expansion of state Medicaid rolls.
