What Can Be Expected From Chris Christie's Keynote Address at the RNC?
Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume sat down with Megyn Kelly to talk about the man who will be delivering the keynote speech at the Republican National Convention in Tampa. The outspoken governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, will be put to the test tonight as America watches in anticipation of the choice-words he will use to stir up the Republican Party.
Hume weighed in on what can be expected from Christie tonight. "My sense about it, Megyn, is that he's going to go off script because he doesn't like to do the teleprompter. That's not when he's at his best. So, for him to be at his best, he's going to more be extemporaneous when he feels like it and say what's on his mind," Hume said.
Brit Hume also added that Christie is at the convention because he'll give a "colorful and powerful speech." However, Hume said that Christie is also in Tampa because of his accomplishments. "He's there as an example of what I think Governor Romney and his associates want to be seen -- an example of the modern Republican Party."
