PREVIEW: Romney's Senior Campaign Adviser on Mitt's RNC Speech
The stage is set for Mitt Romney to deliver his much anticipated address at the Republican National Convention tonight.
Eric Fehrnstrom, a senior adviser to the Romney campaign, joined Megyn Kelly on America Live to talk about what the governor hopes to accomplish in his speech.
Fehrnstrom said Romney can highlight the parallels between Massachusetts when he took office in 2003 and the current state of the US economy.
"I was with Mitt in Massachusetts and he was elected governor at a time when that state was in recession. They had a severely unbalanced budget," said Fehrnstrom. "By the time he left four years later, he had turned the economic situation around, he had balanced the budget four years in a row -- without raising taxes -- and he got that unemployment rate down to 4.7 percent."
