President Obama Criticizes Romney's RNC Speech: 'It Was a Rerun'
President Obama responded to Mitt Romney’s RNC speech last week, telling a crowd, “It was a rerun; we’d seen it before. You might as well have watched it on a black and white TV. If you didn’t DVR it, let me recap it for you. Everything’s bad, it’s Obama’s fault, and Governor Romney is the only one who knows the secret to creating jobs and growing the economy.”
Fox News’ Chris Stirewalt assessed, “Barack Obama was able to run on a very gauzy policy platform in 2008, talking about hope and change and emphasizing
transformative but unspecific kinds of change. Now he’s making the same accusation against Governor Romney.”
Stirewalt said given the unprecedented negative attacks by President Obama, he predicts a rough and rowdy convention with Democrats aiming personal attacks against Romney and being stringently negative.
