Tonight at the DNC, actress Eva Longoria spoke to the crowd in Charlotte, N.C. Longoria cited her family, and the importance the role of education played in her life.

"In my family, there was one cardinal priority — education. College was not an option; it was mandatory," she said, later adding. "We’re lucky our president understands the value of American opportunity, because he’s lived it! And he’s fighting to help others achieve it."
