WATCH: Neil Gets Both Sides' Take on the Latest Jobs Report
Neil Cavuto delved into Friday's disappointing jobs report with John Sununu, senior adviser to the Romney campaign, and Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.) on Your World.
The unemployment rate declined slightly to 8.1 percent, but there were 23.1 million unemployed or underemployed in August. The Labor Department reported that the economy added 96,000 jobs last month, compared to 125,000 expected by economists.
Though the unemployment rate went down, it was mostly attributed to people abandoning the job search. Sununu said the labor market will continue to be a problem for President Obama in his quest for re-election.
"He's not going to be able to convince
the 23 million Americans that aren't working or are underemployed that something good happened to them," Sununu said.
"Even though this president is going to try and pump it up, people have to understand the worst thing he has done is kill the hope and confidence of this economy, which is the stimulus that creates investment."

Fattah defended the Obama administration, saying that there have been job gains for 30 straight months. He also argued that even more jobs could have been created "if (Obama) had a little help from the Republicans in Congress."
