Fallen Navy SEAL's Family on Bin Laden Raid Aftermath: What the Obama Administration Did Was Criminal
The family of fallen Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn spoke out in an exclusive interview with Fox News, telling correspondent Catherine Herridge that their son was filled with uncharacteristic fear when Vice President Joe Biden revealed that Team 6 was the group responsible for the the take-down of Usama bin Laden.
"Mom, you need to wipe your social media clean of any reference to me or any of my buddies," Aaron had told his mother. "There's chatter, and all our lives could be in danger, including yours."
Vaughn's mother told Herridge that
neither her son nor any of the SEALs on the team wanted the recognition, and on the contrary, were angered when they were revealed, as well as worried for their safety and that of their loved ones.

"I can tell you one thing, SEAL Team 6 didn't want to be identified," she said. "Those men don't need a pat on the back, they don't work for that ... everyone [Aaron] talked to [was] very angry."
Aaron's father added of the administration's admission, "We expect better out of the hightest in our government, and I believe what the administration did then ... I believe it was criminal."
