WATCH: Iran Releases Christian Pastor From Jail After Three Years
America Live brought us the latest on the release of Youcef Nadarkhani, an Iranian pastor who had been jailed for three years after refusing to renounce his Christian faith. Nadarkhani, 35, was found guilty of
a lesser charge this weekend, then reunited with his family.
Megyn Kelly spoke with Jay Sekulow, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice. The ACLJ led the efforts to secure the pastor's freedom. However, there are hundreds more in Iran who are imprisoned on faith-based charges.
Sekulow said he and his colleagues were actually expecting more charges to be filed against Nadarkhani, but that ultimately the Iranian government bowed to international pressure over the pastor's imprisonment.
