Watch as Gretchen Carlson talks to an American Airlines pilot who was bumped from one of the Boston-to-LA flights that wound up hitting the World Trade Center. Steve Scheibner was supposed to be in the cockpit, but Tom McGuiness replaced him in a last-minute scheduling change.
Scheibner is still
a pilot, regularly flying out of Boston.

"I still walk down that gate at Boston. That was the one that the terrorists boarded the airplane on. And every time I walk down that gate I just stop and say a little prayer for folks and remember the loss. But at the same time, pilots are also trained to compartmentalize, so you got to kind of put it behind you and get on with the flight ahead of you, or else you're not going to be a safe airman," Scheibner explained.
