Author Bob Woodward Exposes Behind-the-Door Negotiations in Washington
Associate editor of the Washington Post, Bob Woodward authored the book, “The Price of Politics,” which has all of Washington talking. The book takes readers behind closed doors and into negotiating rooms of the White House, exposing how President Obama tried but failed to restore the economy. Woodward sat down with Sean Hannity tonight in an exclusive cable interview.
He described the meeting between the president and Speaker of the House John Boehner, trying to strike a deal. Woodward pointed to Obama adviser David Plouffe telling President Obama that the deal will give Republicans too much power.
Now, the failure to come together has pushed any chance at a deal to 2013, after the election. Additionally, the Congressional Budget Office is predicting a government-created recession next year.
