Dana Perino: Obama Should've Stayed in D.C. to Deal With Libya, Sent Bill Clinton to Las Vegas Instead
On today's 'The Five,' co-host Dana Perino offered some strategy advice that she says President Obama should have taken when deciding whether or not to head to Las Vegas for a campaign stop after news broke of the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.
"He should have never gone to Vegas," Perino said. Instead, the president should have sent the likes of Former President Bill Clinton in his place, choosing to stay in the capitol, in the Situation Room.
"The media would have loved it," said
Perino. Instead, his decision to head out on the trail just aided in "eviscerating the air of competence he had built up over the last four years."
