Neil Cavuto sat down with Ann Romney for an exclusive interview today on Your World.

Mrs. Romney defended her husband's initial response to the Middle East protests, in which the former governor called out the Obama administration for a tweet by the US Embassy that appeared to apologize to the protesters. Romney was

then criticized, including by some Republicans, for injecting politics into the rapidly unfolding situation.

"He was responding to an issue that was immediate, it was before the deaths (in Libya), and so I felt it was perfectly appropriate," she said.

"I trust in Mitt's judgment. I trust in his leadership ability. I've seen him in all situations be an extraordinary, exceptional leader. I really do trust the guy for any kind of crisis this country will face whether it's economic or military."
