Gun Shop Owner: Soaring Gun Sales Are 'Absolutely' Stemming From Possible Second Term for Obama
Colorado gun shop owner Rich Wyatt told Fox and Friends that skyrocketing firearm sales are "absolutely" related to concerns that President Obama will win a second term.
According to the FBI, 12 million people have undergone background checks during the first eight months of this year in order to purchase a firearm. That is 4.5 million more than the same period four years ago.
Wyatt said
he believes President Obama will move strongly to restrict gun sales if he is re-elected in November, attempting to "make the rest of the country look like Chicago."
"He has actually already banned the importation of 500,000 M1 Garands, which were made here in the United States and are military artifacts, he wouldn't let those back in the country. So that's a pretty anti-gun move," Wyatt said.
