Rick Santorum: Obama Has Distanced Himself from Israel, 'Appeasing' Iran
Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) joined Fox and Friends this morning to discuss Iran's nuclear program and his new film, "Our Sacred Honor."
Over the weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on President Obama to step up his efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. He said
the situation is reaching a critical point and "urgency" is required.
Santorum said Netanyahu has to press President Obama on the issue, otherwise Obama will "turn his back" on Israel.
"President Obama has made his bed here, and he has sent very clear signals... that if you're a friend of the United States, don't expect us to help you. If you're an enemy of the United States, we want to talk to you, we want to engage you, we want to appease you," Santorum said.
The former presidential candidate also spoke about his new film, entitled "Our Sacred Honor," which explores the founding documents of the United States.
