WATCH: Mom Shocked to Learn 4th-Grade Teacher Asked Daughter's Class to Draw 9/11 Pictures
On Fox and Friends this morning, Gretchen Carlson spoke with the mother of a girl whose fourth-grade teacher asked the class to draw pictures of 9/11 last week.
Ivie Gremillon, of El Paso, Texas, said the teacher also told the children that "the Afghans" were behind 9/11, and carried out the attacks because
"all Afghans hate Americans."
Gremillon said that was most upsetting to her because her husband is in the Army and will be deploying to Afghanistan.
Gremillon said she contacted school administrators, who apologized, explaining that the teacher's "heart was in a good place... but she just went overboard."
