Texas Mother Sues Police After Being Arrested for Allowing Her Kids to Play Outside

A Texas mother was arrested for letting her children play outside! Tammy Cooper says that her two children were riding their scooters in the cul-de-sac of her neighborhood while she watched from her front yard. A police officer arrived a short time later saying that neighbors had complained that the children were playing in the street without supervision. Cooper was then arrested for child endangerment and had to spend the night in jail. The charges were eventually dropped, but now Cooper is suing the local police department and her neighbor.
