Jewel on New Book, How Motherhood Has Changed Her Life
Four-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Jewel has launched a new career as an author. The new mother recently wrote a children’s book called, 'That’s What I’d Do.'
She talked about the career change and motherhood on Fox and Friends, saying, “My art has always imitated my life, and I’m a mom and I’m obsessed with being a mom, so I’ve been doing quite a few kids projects.”
Jewel reflected on her decision to focus on motherhood over music, saying, “I’ve been so lucky to be successful in my life and what’s the point of having some money if you don’t take the opportunity like this to be at home and enjoy your baby. For me that was the decision I wanted to make and I wanted to enjoy it. It goes so quickly.”
