Political Grapevine: No Doughnuts for the Birds?
A New Yorker's last-ditch effort to save his gas station is turning into a bit of a hairy situation ... or, shall we say "feathery"? (We couldn't help ourselves...)
The Cold Spring Planning Board allegedly won't let a man build a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru at his gas station because it might bother bald eagles nests that are several miles away.
However, a bald eagles expert
tells Fox News that the tasty treats shouldn't pose much of a problem for the bird community.
"They don't eat doughnuts. They prefer carrion," he said.
