Christian Store Hobby Lobby Sues Gov't for Requiring Contraception, Abortion Coverage
Judge Andrew Napolitano joined Varney & Co. on Friday to weigh in on the latest lawsuit to come out over Obamacare. Hobby Lobby, a Christian hobby store, is suing the Obama administration for requiring them to provide health care through the Affordable Care Act that would cover services like contraception and even abortion for its workers.
"I don't blame the Hobby Lobby people for filing a lawsuit," Napolitano said. "There are 45 lawsuits out there, mainly brought by Catholic organizations ... that have large numbers of employees they have to insure ... So, the court will struggle with the following: does a sincerely held religious view exempt someone from obeying the law of the land that applies to everybody else?"
