Jeweler Offers Free Rifle With Purchase of Diamond
Attention spouses! A jewelry store in Georgia has an unusual incentive for customers. Buy a diamond, get a gun! D. Geller and Son Jewelers offered hunting rifles to anyone who bought a diamond worth over $2,500 bucks. People aren’t handed a gun over the counter; they receive a voucher for a local sporting goods store to pick up their free gun.
The owner said the store’s website received millions of hits about the offer. The promotion, however, ended yesterday.
