Roseanne Barr for President? Comedian Blames Billionaires for 'All the Problems on the Planet'
Comedian Roseanne Barr is running for president under the Peace and Freedom Party. Yes, that’s president of the United States. Tonight on Hannity, Sean asked her if people should take her seriously about her run for the White House. Barr said she is very serious and in fact, she says, “I’m the only serious comedian in the presidential race.” That clears it up.
The presidential candidate has been critical of billionaires, tweeting, “most billionaires r violent pedophiles & consumers of violent pedo porn. they get a kick out of being heartless cruel empty cocaine addicts. [sic]”
She backed up her sentiment, adding that billionaires are responsible for all the problems on the planet. A somewhat flabbergasted Hannity told Barr, “Let me be honest with you
, you are too smart to be saying some of these things.”
Barr took the opportunity to asked President Obama and Mitt Romney to debate her because she believes “the American people are being given a false choice […] the lesser of two evils is a false choice.”
What’s on Barr’s platform? Peace, freedom and economic solutions including investing in our own country. “I do think that we need a little bit more socialism in this country at this time. We need to move stuff from the top to the middle and the bottom, because it keeps on staying at the top,” she said.
Barr said it’s that “stuff” at the top that will build the middle class because “people deserve something back for the taxes they pay.”
