Terror Alert at FAA Reveals Major Mistakes, Cover-Up
A major mistake took place at John F. Kennedy International Airport last week in New York when the airport went into a full-scale alert after someone called in a warning about two inbound flights. The flights were suspected of carrying terrorists and explosives.
The New York Post reported that the Port Authority allowed those suspected planes to taxi right to the gate upon landing, while a plane not suspected of anything was taken to an isolated area for investigation. Officials say the flight numbers got mixed up in the bustle ... however, the situation was compounded when those responsible for the mistake lied to agency officials, blaming it on the FAA.
