Plane Escapes Crash Landing When Landing Gear Miraculously Locks Into Place 50 Feet Above Runway
Passengers aboard a flight from Rio de Janeiro were bracing for a crash landing at New York’s JFK Airport, when the plane’s landing gear miraculously locked into place. The 190 people on the flight were told to brace for impact after the aircraft’s landing gear apparently failed. When the plane was just 50 feet above the runway, the gear amazingly locked into place.
A member of the disaster response team said of the incident, “It was as if the hand of God turned the wheel.”
