Bill O’Reilly: Romney Won the Debate 'By a Lot,' But Didn't Score the Knockout
Bill O’Reilly phoned in to America’s Newsroom to give his opinion of last night’s presidential debate, saying he was surprised to see President Obama looking so tired.
“He came off as a boring college professor. That’s how he came off,” said O’Reilly.
On the other hand, O’Reilly felt Romney “had his facts at his fingertips,” but said that he “didn’t do anything extraordinary,” adding, “I see it as more Obama lost it rather than Romney won it.”
“He didn’t do the knock-out,” O’Reilly said of Romney, comparing the debate to a boxing match. “He won — by a lot — on points, but he didn’t knock him to the ground.” Nevertheless, O’Reilly feels Romney’s performance will give him a slight boost in the polls.
“But, you know, we’ve got two more debates,” he added. “And believe me when I tell you, Obama’s not going to be as flat the next time around.”
