Romney Responds to New Jobs Numbers, Claims Drop Is Due to People Quitting Job Search
At a campaign event in Virginia today, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney reacted to today's news of a drop in jobless claims, saying that "the reason it's come down this year is primarily due to the fact that more and more people have just stopped looking for work."
"When I'm President of the United States, when I'm President of the United States, that unemployemt rate is going to come down ... because we're creating more jobs."
