Debate: Obama Campaign Choosing Big Bird Over Big Issues?
The presidential election is in full swing and the most important issues affecting America are being debated. That is, if you consider Big Bird to be one of the big issues. Tonight on Hannity, Sean asked why Sesame Street is garnering more attention from the Obama campaign than what really happened leading up to the U.S. Consulate attack in Libya.
David Limbaugh explained why President Obama has been using Big Bird as a talking point to attack Mitt Romney. “[President Obama] is making this into a big issue because
he can’t talk about his record and really Sean, what we’re seeing is a wholesale failure in his foreign policy as revealed by this emerging scandal in Libya.”
Juan Williams argued that Romney used Big Bird to dodge the fact that he lied during the presidential debate about raising taxes. “Here’s why it’s not small ball […] Remember, Big Bird is introduced to the conversation by Governor Romney. [...] He did it as a dodge so he wouldn’t have to talk about the fact that he distorted his own record.”
