Governor Sarah Palin Talks VP Debates
Former Governor Sarah Palin joined Megyn Kelly on today’s America Live to discuss her experiences during the 2008 vice presidential debate as well as her thoughts on this year’s debate.
“Megyn, I think it’s going to be very, very important for Paul Ryan to do what I attempted to do,” said Palin, describing her 2008 strategy of trying to point out Biden’s contradicting statements leading up to their debate.
“At the end of the day, though, that VP debater has just got to be themselves, they’ve got to stand on their own record … and just tell the truth. And that’s what Americans are going to crave tonight,” she said.
Kelly also asked Palin about the recent Associated Press photo of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and an excited schoolgirl, and whether she felt the unflattering photo was a product of media bias.
“Hell yeah, it’s media bias!” replied Palin, who went on to discuss a similar incident in which a photo of herself was made to appear as if she was being ogled by two boys.
