Peter Johnson Jr: Biden’s Debate Strategy Backfired

Today on America Live, Peter Johnson Jr. addressed Joe Biden’s performance in Thursday’s vice presidential debate. The vice president has received criticism from many, including Fox News Channel’s Chris Wallace who referred Biden's demeanor as “openly contemptuous and disrespectful.”

Johnson Jr. believes this may have been a tactic on Biden’s part to provide “energy and excitement to a failing campaign.”

He pointed out that Biden’s constant laughter, even in discussing issues as serious as the Libya attack, was disconcerting for the American public to see.

“I think it started out with a strategy that he wanted […] but I think it fell apart.”
