Obama Stops Saying "Al Qaeda Is on the Run" in Stump Speeches
On Wednesday’s Special Report, Bret Baier made note of the fact that in stump speeches today, President Obama refrained from saying that Al Qaeda is “on the run,” a phrase he had previously used in campaign addresses.
Stephen Hayes argued that given recent reports of Al Qaeda’s resurgence in Iraq and other countries, he’s not surprised “that the president has dropped the Al Qaeda language.”
“The real surprise,” argued Hayes, “is if Mitt Romney continues to back away from Libya.”
