Victims of Fort Hood Shooting Asking For It to Be Called a Terrorist Attack
Major Nidal Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood nearly three years ago, killing 13 people and wounding dozens more in the rampage. Now, the mother of one soldier killed in the attack has organized a group of families who want it to be classified as a terrorist act - not workplace violence.
The group is asking lawmakers and the Department of Defense to change its classification, releasing a new video profiling family members speaking out about their request. The feds have not yet responded to the video.
