Clinton Dismisses Social Media As 'Not Evidence' in Libya Attack, So Why Was YouTube Video Touted as Evidence?
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dismissed the emails which showed that hundreds of officials in the White House, State Department and Pentagon knew that an Al Qaeda-linked terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack hours after it happened.
She said, “Posting something on Facebook is not in and of itself evidence, and I think it just underscores how fluid the reporting was at the time and continued for some time to be.”
By the same token, Dana Perino pointed out
on The Five, “If you follow that logic, one post on YouTube of a stupid video doesn’t amount to evidence either, but yet that is what they used as their excuse.”
