Pakistani Girl Shot by Taliban Reunited With Family in England
Malala Yousufzai, the 15-year-old Pakistani girl who was shot in the head for defying the Taliban, was recently reunited with her family at the English hospital where she is recovering.
Yousufzai, who was speaking out for right of girls to go to school, is said to be making a remarkable recovery, and is already asking for books.
Her father, Ziauddin Yousufzai, spoke to the media after seeing his daughter. He said, “The person who attacked her, they wanted to kill her, but I will safely say that she fell temporarily, she will rise again. She will stand again – and she can stand now. But when she fell, Pakistan stood and the world raised.”
