Judge Napolitano on Obama's Green Energy Initiatives: The Government Shouldn't "Choose Winners and Losers in the Marketplace"
On Fox Business Network on Wednesday, Judge Andrew Napolitano sat down with host Charles Payne to discuss what he called another green energy debacle in the Obama administration - that of companies shown financial favor by the president as he doubles down on green energy failing to survive and instead, going broke.
"It's heartbreaking because it violates basic principles of supply and demand and risk and reward," the judge said. "When the government gives you cash, you almost don't care what
happens to it ... they're going to give you cash whether you use it properly or not."
Charles also pointed out that in addition, the companies know that more cash will be coming in.
"If you're in the real marketplace where you have to get money from real investors, you're going to monitor how every penny is spent," Napolitano said.
The government doesn't have a right to "choose winners and losers in the marketplace."
