Ohio Governor John Kasich Reassures of Voting Preparedness Despite Reports of Corruption
Ohio Governor John Kasich joined Sean Hannity to talk about next week’s presidential election. Taking precedent over politics was the governor’s message to viewers in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, “I hope we’re all saying our prayers for the folks on the East Coast that have been so hard hit, you know, whether they’ve lost homes or the loss of life. Out here in the Buckeye State in the Midwest, our hearts go out to you and so do our prayers. We’re with you, stay strong, and we’ll do what we can to help.”
Shifting gears back to the election, Hannity asked Kasich about reports on early voting being corruption in Ohio. The governor reassured, “We have planned for this. We are prepared to provide
the security. […] I don’t know how they do it in the other states, but boy I’ll tell you they watch one another like a hawk.”
The biggest issue of Ohio voters, according to Kasich, is which candidate is the better job creator. Kasich believes that Republican candidate Mitt Romney will win the state of Ohio, even though there are some polls showing that President Obama is leading. He told Hannity, “I’m convinced that God created pollsters to make astrologers look accurate.”
