Drivers Losing Patience as Gas Lines Stretch for Miles in New Jersey and New York
Supplies and patience are running out very quickly as New York and New Jersey residents struggle with the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. With fuel in short supply, drivers who can even find open gas stations are being forced to wait in lines miles and miles long.
Sixty percent of the gas stations in New Jersey are reportedly closed, 70 percent on Long Island.
There have been reports of fights at many stations as people tried to cut into the lines.
