Judge Napolitano: Romney’s Plan for Gov’t Will Produce ‘Prosperity, Wealth and Jobs’

A major difference between President Obama’s and Governor Romney’s presidential campaigns, arguably, is that one side is insistent on growing the government, while the other is determined to shrink it. To explain the fundamental differences between big government and small, Fox and Friends welcomed Fox News’ senior judicial analyst, Judge Andrew Napolitano.

“In the area of the economy, which is most important to most Americans, the president wants to use the government to redistribute wealth [and] Governor Romney wants to take the government out of the way of private enterprise,” said Napolitano.

He also explained his belief that Romney understands

basic economics better than Obama, and the concept that “risk and private enterprise produces prosperity, wealth and jobs.” Napolitano then shot down Obama’s plan to redistribute tax dollars, saying, “That, of course, doesn’t last. It doesn’t produce prosperity.”

Napolitano also discussed Obama’s proposed tax hikes, stimulus spending, plans for federal regulation and his probable deficit increase if he’s elected for another term. “That would put us on a path of destruction,” argued Napolitano.
