Peter Johnson Jr: Today is a Great Day 'Because Every Vote Counts'
“This is a great, great day in the United States … because every vote counts,” began Fox News legal analyst Peter Johnson Jr. on this morning’s edition of Fox and Friends.
“The pageant of American elections have been particularly close elections,” he explained, pointing to the 1876 presidential election (which resulted in
185 electoral votes for Hayes over Tilden’s 184) and the 2000 presidential election between Bush and Gore (271 electoral votes to 266, respectively).
Johnson then urged every single eligible American to vote, saying, “This is the day to register that opinion. This is the day that our soldiers died for. This is the day that we all live for, in America.”
Otherwise, as Johnson stated, “you can’t complain after the election if you don’t vote.”
