VIDEO: MSNBC's Chris Matthews Is "Glad" We Had Superstorm Sandy

In exit polls, 42 percent of those questioned said that President Obama's response to Hurricane Sandy was "important" when it came time to make their decision at the polls. 'America Live' host Megyn Kelly tried to assess just how important, and just what role it may have played.

One broadcaster who made his thoughts known on the impact of the storm on the election was MSNBC's Chris Matthews, who received criticism for remarks made during last night's coverage.

"I'm so glad we had that

storm last week [fellow anchors disagreeing] ... No, politically, I should say," Matthews tried to hedge, adding, "The storm brought in possibilities for good politics..."
