Former NFL Player Jerramy Stevens Arrested on Suspicion of Assaulting Fiance, U.S. Soccer Star Hope Solo
Hope Solo, the goalkeeper of the U.S. women’s soccer team, was allegedly the victim of domestic violence. Police arrested her fiance, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, the day before the two were supposed to get married.
Patti Ann Browne provided details on the incident, saying that Stevens was released after a court appearance yesterday when the judge said that there was not enough evidence to hold him.
The incident in question happened in Kirkland, Washington. Solo’s 34-year-old brother called 911 at 3:45am to report a fight at a party. When police arrived, he told them that
there was a physical altercation involving 8 people and that he used a stun gun on one of them. Solo had a cut on her elbow, another woman had an injured hip, and a man had multiple contusions. One of the officers on scene said that the intoxicated party-goers did not cooperate with police. When the officers searched the house, they found 33-year-old Stevens hiding on the floor behind a bed with blood on his shirt. Stevens admitted that he had argued with Solo over where the two should live after the wedding.
