Gone Nuts? Mom Wants Oak Trees Close to Schools Cut Down Due to Kids' Nut Allergies

One mother in the Canadian town of Vaughan began a campaign that she hopes will help the health of school kids with nut allergies. The plan? Chop down the oak trees.

Donna Giustizia says she wants the trees cut down so the schools can have nut-free zones because of widespread nut allergies. According to the mom, the mere sight of acorns could trigger anxiety in an allergic child.

Okay. What do you think? Should the trees go, or is the plan ... y'know ... nutty? (Sorry, we had to.)
