Brad Keselowski Talks About Winning His First NASCAR Title, Maintains He Never Tweeted While Driving
Brad Keselowski, who won his first NASCAR Sprint Cup championship on Sunday, stopped by America's Newsroom this morning, talking with Bill Hemmer about becoming the first Michigan native to win the NASCAR trophy.
His victory in the No. 2 Miller Lite-sponsored car was the first for his team, Penske Racing, in 40 years and the first by a Dodge car since 1975.
"I feel very fortunate. I'm a product of
a great team at Penske Racing and everything just came together this year. We've got talent, we've got resources and hard-working ethics and you put that together with the right timing and you've got a champion," Keselowski said.
The 28-year-old also discussed a controversial situation from earlier this season when he tweeted a picture from behind the wheel while a race was stopped.
