Bombshell Report Claims That Prosecutors Missed Casey Anthony’s Searches for "Foolproof Suffocation"

A new bombshell report coming out of Orlando says prosecutors and police overlooked Casey Anthony’s Google searches on “foolproof suffocation,” a possible smoking gun that could have doomed the mother who was found not guilty in the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.

The searches were reportedly performed on June 16, 2008, the last day that Caylee Anthony was seen alive.

Former prosecutor Fred Tecce commented on the reports on today’s Happening Now, saying that while police should have found the search, it wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the case. “You’ve got to remember something, the entire reason that the coroner ruled that this was a homicide was because she found duct tape near this young child’s remains … And the theory that the government used was that she was suffocated with duct tape. Now, these searches were about a plastic bag,” he said.

Dan Schorr, another former prosecutor, disagreed, saying that Anthony’s searches for suffocation would have been an important part of the case even if it wasn’t the exact same type of suffocation.
