WATCH: Puppy Tossed From Moving Car Makes Miraculous Recovery
Three months ago, Joey, a three-month old puppy, was severely injured when he was brutally tossed out of a moving car. Against all odds, little Joey is walking and running again. He and his new owner, Dr. Lynda Loudon, joined Fox and Friends on Thanksgiving Day to talk about his miraculous recovery.
Joey was found on the side of the road by a Good Samaritan after being put in a garbage bag and thrown from a moving car. He had three fractured vertebrae in his neck, was paralyzed in all four limbs, and doctors didn’t think he’d ever walk again.

Now, Joey is thriving. And incredibly, he has a gentle disposition despite the abuse inflicted upon him.
Dr. Loudon, who treated Joey and has since adopted him, said, “He is a really lovable dog, he’s got a great personality, he’s wonderful with my two-year-old.”
She said she adopted him because she couldn’t bear to part with him. “I couldn’t let him go after everything we went through together.”
