Larry DePrimo, NYPD Officer, Buys Homeless Man Pair of Boots and Proves He's "New York's Finest"

One unsuspecting New York City police officer has become known as a hero across the Internet after an Arizona tourist posted this photo on the NYPD's Facebook page. The photo shows 25-year-old DePrimo talking to a barefoot homeless man in Times Square. He found out the man's shoe size and went into a nearby Sketcher's store to buy the man a $75 pair of boots. Once DePrimo was identified, he told reporters that he's keeping the receipt for the shoes in his vest to remind him that sometimes, people have it worse.
